Iranian Film Festival in Germany to screen ‘A House on 41st Street’

Iranian film ‘A House on 41st Street’ is to be screened at the fourth edition of Iranian Film Festival in Germany.

"The disintegration of a middle-class family over a murder committed by a brother due to a bounced check," a review says on the storyline of Hamid-Reza Ghorbani’s film, adding that 'A House on 41st Street' is a drama with a simple start and gradually moves into complex psychology and morality.

‘A House on 41st Street’ was selected to participate in the 40th São Paulo International Film Festival, Brazil. The film was also present in 2016 Cannes Film Market.

Notable among the cast are Mahnaz Afshar, Arash Majidi and Ali Mosaffa.

The 4th Iranian Film Festival will take place in Cologne city on May 24-28, 2017.
